Avoca, Kilmacanouge

 Well, we certainly weren’t the only ones with the bright idea to get fed at this beautiful spot one sunny August Saturday… the place was rammed!! Having said that, after eating there I have absolutely no question as to why: its perfect. The setting is perfect, the food is perfect, service is perfect…. have I said it enough?

I was so impressed with this place (… as you can tell!) it was the last of the Avoca cafes that I had to check out & I would have to say that I unwittingly left the best till last; the food in all Avoca’s restaurants is undeniably faultless but, the setting on which this cafe is built just sets it apart from the rest.

This place is ideal for any special occasion from a girlie brunch to a mother’s day lunch to celebrating a friends birthday in style. The room is so bright & airy with windows as far as the eye can see…. if you are a lady who lunches or, a block who brunches you need to get yourself down here. Just make sure you book a table!
