Avoca, Powerscourt

Menu/ dishes:

Gorgeous hot food with a great option of delicious side-salads, huge slabs of cake & a great selection of drinks.

Price Point:

It varies widely depending on what you’re getting but I think the pricing is perfect for the high quality ingredients.

Atmosphere:

We were lucky enough to go on a beautifully sunny day & nabbed a table outside where we could look onto Powerscourt gardens… you can’t get a much better atmosphere than that!

Service:

It a queue & order from a selection from behind the counter situation which I personally like as you get to see exactly what you’re ordering as you go. The staff serving from the counter are friendly and efficient.

Why I liked it enough to share:

This isn’t the first Avoca I’ve mentioned in the food posts, in fact, I think this might be the last one I haven’t  mentioned but that’s obviously a testament to just how bloody good they are! Their salads are second to none when comparing to any other salads not made to order & the mains are always healthy AND delicious… whats not to love!

Perfect for:

A day out with friends; start with lunch here & then walk it off around the gardens.. perfect.
