Bakehouse, Bachelor’s Walk

Normally I wouldn’t be compelled to eat somewhere like this as the menu looked pretty uninspiring at first and well, as much as I love bread its a ‘My eyes say yes, my thighs say no’ scenario but, when it was recommended to me by more than one person I thought I’d make a plan to check it out.We went all out traditional with a breakfast sandwich & fry and despite our reservation we ended up eating our words (see what I did there?)

The fry was faultless, full of flavor without the greasiness… the sandwich was so pillow-y that I was reluctant to even share a bite. I know you should expect excellent quality bread from a establishment named ‘bakehouse’ but unfortunately things don’t always work out as such so it still came as a surprise as to how good it actually was. This is the perfect little spot if you want a classic breakfast done very well.
