Beast Eatery, Victoria Quay
Beast Eatery, Victoria Quay
Menu/Dishes:
A fully vegan restaurant offering indulgent vegan soul food. We both went for their *Chick-Hun* burger which is deepfried in a crispy, spicy batter, lavished on a toasted bun with heaps of their very own 100% Vegan Badass Bacon & 3AM Garlic Mayo Slaw and split fries.
Price Point:
€9.50 for the burgers, €3-4 for sides which I felt was well priced.
Atmosphere:
Quite a busy little spot tucked away just off Watling Street. There was a lot of footfall for takeaways as well as several sit-in customers. The set up is fairly basic which is to be expected as they’re just getting off their feet but, something to be aware of if you’re more in favour of lavish surroundings.
Service:
Friendly and super-casual. You can tell they’re passionate about what they’re doing, they went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable meal.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
The options for vegan comfort food in Dublin are few and far between so, I was delighted to see this place opening up. The food is tasty AF whether you’re vegan or not and the menu offerings are super-indulgent; if they get their delivery up and running this’ll be a strong contender for every vegan hangover cure.
Perfect For:
Whenever you’re in the mood for tasty comfort food (but not on Mondays or Tuesdays as they’re closed those days!)
