Dada, South William Street

 Dada have a great early bird menu and a BYO option sooooo, when I was in the mood to go for an mid-evening reasonably priced meal this is where I chose. In spite of the fact that it was mid-August when I headed out for this meal, the weather was atrocious (… surprise surprise) so we went straight for the tagine options hoping they would be hearty and filling… which is exactly what they were.

I’d read great reports about the food in Dada but that the service could be a little iffy so I was pre-empting that possibility from the moment we arrived. As you guys know, service is huge for me; I can’t discount it from a meal and, my overall experience will be irrevocably tainted if my party is tarred with careless wait staff. Fortunately there was absolutely no lacking in the service department on our visit so that, coupled with the rich and flavourful food made for a very pleasant experience.

If you’re looking for a generous meal in a cosy environment where you can linger over bottles of wine without worrying about an extortionate cheque… this is the place for you.
