Deselby's, Camden Street
Deselby’s Camden Street
MENU/DISHES:
We went for brunch & ordered some of the day’s specials and the menu’s egg combos. The menu has all the classics you’d expect with some great, less traditional options on the specials board for when you’re feeling a touch more adventurous (read: not hungover)
PRICE POINT:
Fair pricing, what you’d anticipate for a city center brunch spot.
ATMOSPHERE:
Perfect atmosphere; bustling without feeling too loud, a little bit of low music & no noise coming in from the busy road outside. The decor focused on the gorgeous original features of the building & the stained glass windows added a great variation of lighting to the room.
SERVICE:
The staff were incredible from our initial phone interaction to the end of our meal. They seemed genuinely invested in our visit & did everything they could to ensure we left happy.
WHY I LIKED IT ENOUGH TO SHARE:
I love seeing new spots popping up around Dublin but the breakfast/lunch hybrid needs an extra je ne sais quoi to make it work… some places throw a brunch menu on to get extra table covers but it takes a certain atmosphere & approach to nail the perfect brunch location; DeSelby’s have nailed it. A great addition to Dublin’s scene with beautiful decor, friendly staff & fresh ingredients.
PERFECT FOR:
Lazy Sunday morning catch up.
