Farmer Brown's Ballsbridge
Farmer Brown’s Ballsbridge
Wheeell, what can I say about this place? First off, theres’ a gorgeous dog waiting in the walk way to greet you when you come in which is a win any day in my book and, when I finally made it into the establishment to eat there were even more pleasant surprises to come!A bright little spot tucked away in Ballsbridge with a few outdoor seats for those of us partial to a little al fresco dining once the scorching Irish summer reaches it’s peak 18 degrees. I’d heard great things about the Farmer Brown’s dinner options but decided to hit them up fro brunch figuring if the food is worth checking out, it should be good allllll day long.
Marrying a penchant for eating out with trying to avoid piling on the pounds can be a tactful situation so I do occasionally choose one of those new hip healthy superfood meals for the dining out experience without the side order of guilt… The healthy breakfast was chosen on that premise but it was far from your standard cardboard muesli! Sean went for his usual eggs Benedict and was equally as impressed with his choice both visually and taste-wise.
His dish was the most beautifully presented eggs Benny he’s (we’d!) ever seen… I think those dishes can often end up looking sloppy & unappetising but they stacked in a very visually appealing way adding extra colour to any otherwise yellow & brown dish. My meal was also almost too pretty to eat too with the effort on presentation not going unnoticed.
The atmosphere was great, staff were lovely and the food was divine.. this place should be the next brunch spot on your list.
