Fia Cafe, Rathgar Road
Fia Cafe, Rathgar Road
MENU/DISHES:
I loved the sort of menus that offer food healthy enough to allow guilt-free indulgence without being so healthy that you feel you can’t bring the whole gang… Fia have nailed that! We ordered the toast & eggs dishes; one with peas & black pudding, one with smoked salmon.
PRICE POINT:
Standard brunch prices.
ATMOSPHERE:
We were lucky to go on a day where it was warm enough to sit at one of the 2 small tables outside, creating our own little atmosphere. Inside seemed lovely & had that vibe of being busy but not chaotic.
SERVICE:
Our waiter was so polite & attentive, he ensured we were well cared for throughout our meal.
WHY I LIKED IT ENOUGH TO SHARE:
This place felt quaint… a lovely little local eatery servicing a very busy part of Dublin. The food was simple but tasty, the decor was gorgeous and staff were friendly.
PERFECT FOR:
We cycled there on a gorgeous sunny day & sat in the sun eating our brunch before we went to a market… painfully wholesome but the perfect start to the weekend, I’d highly recommend it for a lazy summer weekend.
