Gertrude, Pearse Street
Gertrude, Pearse Street
Menu/Dishes:
A global-influenced menu with lots of flare, I went for the Barley Bowl (Roast Barley, Sauerkraut, Miso Glazed Carrots, Beetroot Dressing, Smoked Almonds) and Cathal had the Dirty Gertie (Bread Nation Oat Toast, Gertrude Baked Beans, Black Pepper Sausage,Fried Egg, Bacon, Gertrude Ketchup)
Price Point:
Around €12 for lunch mains which I felt was really fair for the quality of ingredients.
Atmosphere:
This spot was fairly quite on the weekday afternoon that we landed in but that only meant that the staff could spend extra time with us and, we had a relaxing environment to enjoy a meal together.
Service:
Super friendly and attentive, the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
The menu was really interesting, service was great and, the setting was really bright and welcoming.
Perfect For:
A lunch catch up with foodie friends.
