Industry, Drury Street

 This is an interesting one; a healthy food spot on Drury street that’s actually a contemporary furniture store that serves food. Fundamentally, I’m a fan of these type of hybrid businesses… the variety is unexpected, it stops things from become stagnant and, it allows you to enjoy some good eats while shopping for that new coffee table. I will mention one beef I had with this otherwise pleasant dining experience; they serve food and drinks yet, they don’t have customer toilets.

Aside from lack of facilities, Industry has plenty to offer; Beautifully fresh wholesome food served in a bright, modern setting. You can choose from a large or small portion of that day’s salad offerings then add meat if you please. The salads on offer were presented very well and were full of flavour.

There is no doubt that their venture into food service is doing well if the crowd in there at lunch time was was anything to go by… the perfect spot if you want the feel of an al fresco dining experience on a not so sunny day.
