Luna, Drury Street
Luna, Drury Street
Menu/Dishes:
I had the Sicilian tomato tartare dish to start with a fish special for main. Luna describes themselves as ‘a modern take on the New York style Italian restaurant’ which I think is very appropriate.
Price Point:
We had a set menu but the a la carte comes in at around €12 for starters and €30 for mains which is what I would have anticipated for this kind of restaurant.
Atmosphere:
I loved the moodiness created by the lighting and heavy fabrics in this place, really intimate vibe and great atmosphere, I can see myself feeling comfortable both in a party group or on a romantic date in this spot.
Service:
Excellent, the staff were really attentive and friendly, they were efficient and knew the menu really well.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
The vibe in Luna is different to any restaurant I’ve been to in Dublin, it feels very cave-like and strikingly removed from the world despite being on one of the busiest corners of the city. The food was fantastic, the menu was really well thought out and the vibe just made you want to sit there drinking jammy red wine all night long.
Perfect For:
A date night to impress or a swanky birthday party.
