Masa, Stephen Street Lower
Masa, Stephen Street Lower
Menu/Dishes:
Dublin’s newest Mexican spot serving up a small but well-chosen menu of soft shell tacos and sides. I went with Cathal and we went for the tortilla chips with guacamole, elotes (corn on the cob) and fish tacos to share while I went for the mushroom tacos for myself while Cathal got the steak options.
Price Point:
The tacos range from €4.50-7 while small plates come in at €2-4 which I felt was great value for the quality of ingredients.
Atmosphere:
This was our third attempt at trying Masa as the first two times it was closed due to kitchen issues, I’m not sure if this effected their footfall as it was a little quite when we were there but, it was also just after the lunch rush. Either way the atmosphere was perfect; we took stools at the window to people-watch while we enjoyed our lunch. The decor is fab too, really modern and clean with a touch of funk.
Service:
Friendly and attentive, perfect service.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
The food was really tasty and fresh, the decor was really inviting and the price point was great. Get the fish tacos, they were the winner of the meal for the two of us!
Perfect For:
Relaxed lunch catch-up with friends.
