The Betsy, Swords
The Betsy, Swords
Menu/Dishes:
The Betsy describe their menus as classic to celebrate, indulge and delight with seasonal ingredients, locally sourced produce. I went with a large group n a Sunday, they don’t do brunch but do have a special Sunday menu (roast dinner, lots of mains and steaks etc), e had lots of nibbles before my main of pea bruschetta which was divine!
Price Point:
The Sunday roast comes to around €17/18 which the Sunday mains range from €15-20 which I felt was fair.
Atmosphere:
This venue was huge with lots of families catching up, Sunday drinkers, match watchers and girls doing brunch so there was a great atmosphere.
Service:
Really friendly and attentive, you can tell the staff are really proud of the new menu and refurbishment.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
This is a fantastic spot for locals and those looking for an all-day spot. I could see myself dancing in The Betsy on a Saturday night as much as I could see myself enjoying a relaxed brunch there so they have something for everyone.
Perfect For:
A boozy brunch with friends or a family catch up.
