The Electric Vegan, Ardee Street
The Electric Vegan, Ardee Street
Menu/Dishes:
A fully vegan menu with a small selection of starters, mains and desserts. We shared a hummus and falafel plate to start while I went for the vegi electric burger with fries and garlic vegan mayo and mom opted for their creamy mushroom pie.
Price Point:
Both mains came in at around €14 with sides which I felt was fair, the starter was €6 which was good value. Our full meal came in at €40 with soft drinks.
Atmosphere:
We visited in the early evening meaning it was quite but it’s a small little cafe so this atmosphere still felt relaxed and comfortable, it was lovely for a catch up with my mom as I didn’t have to shout over a bustling crowd to communicated with her.
Service:
It’s an order at the bar and have the food delivered to the table type set up which suited the casual vibe of this place perfectly. The girl working there was super-friendly.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
The food was really tasty and the vibe was really casual making it the perfect place to pop in for a relaxed bite to eat. I love to see vegan restaurants opening around Dublin offering selection to vegans and, offering a reminder to non-vegans that it’s not all a diet of lettuce and carrots!
Perfect For:
A relaxed mid-week catch up with friends.
