The Pig's Ear, Nassau Street
The Pig’s Ear, Nassau Street
Menu/ dishes:
We went as a group of 5 so pretty much tried everything on the menu! Great selection to suit every palette and a lovely variety of flavors. You could really tell the quality of produce used in this restaurant.
Price Point:
We went for the early bird which was fantastic value at 3 courses for €26.95. I felt the portion sizes were ideal for a 3 course meal too allowing you to try everything without feeling too greedy.
Atmosphere:
Gorgeous welcoming atmosphere, the dining area is filled with natural light with a lovely view over Nassau street & into the grounds of Trinity college. The restaurant did feel quite loud even though the place wasn’t over-crowded so that’s something to keep in mind if you or your company are hard of hearing.
Service:
The staff were faultless with the perfect amount of attention being offered to our party throughout the night. They obviously had a great knowledge of the food & wine too which is always a bonus!
Why I liked it enough to share:
The Pig’s ear has been on my list for a while now as it feels like a Dublin institution in some ways so I was delighted to see they were offering a more affordable option with their really reasonable early bird options. I though the quality of food was amazing & loved the beautiful bright space the restaurant is set in.
Perfect for:
Celebrating a special occasion without having to sell an organ!
