The Yarn, Liffey Street
The Yarn, Liffey Street
Menu/Dishes:
This place has a neon sign outside flashing ‘pizza & booze’ which sums up the basis of their menu. Their sides are absolutely deserving of a mention too; we went for the burnt onion hummus with flatbread and vegetable dippers and parmesan eggplant fries with tomato and basil dip with the creamed Corn, Fior di Latte, Speck, smoked semi-dried tomatoes, Parmesan pizza to follow for me (without the speck) and lasagna pizza for Sean
Price Point:
Our bill came to around €60 for two starters, two mains, two dips and one glass of wine which we felt was fair.
Atmosphere:
This place has nailed the laid back casual vibe which was really enjoyable for a mid-week dinner.
Service:
Our waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, he had a great knowledge of the menu and wines on offer.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
My pizza was divine, the starters were fresh and delicious and, the service and wine list were fantastic… faultless experience (well, the dips were way bigger than they needed to be but that’s just me being pedantic now!)
Perfect For:
A foodie date night or catch up with friends, call ahead to nab a seat outside.
