YUMO Aungier Street
YUMO Aungier Street
MENU/DISHES:
We ordered the DIY ramen bowl, some gyoza and a bento box.
PRICE POINT:
Very reasonable for ramen… €10 for whatever I wanted it in & filling enough even for the biggest of appetites.
ATMOSPHERE:
Not a whole lot of atmosphere going on here… its very much a ‘grab n’ go’ type place… only has 4 tables & a few high stools so it would be unlikely to eve feel ‘bustling’ if that the kind of place you’re in to.
SERVICE:
Faultless. The staff that work at the counter serve the food but manage to balance the 2 tasks very well. The menus are very basic printed slips of paper that allow you to tick off what you want… a little confusing at times as you have to tick to exclude some & include others!
WHY I LIKED IT ENOUGH TO SHARE:
You cant fault great Japanese food & I feel that Dublin is finally beginning to cop on to that… this place is serving food thats beautifully fresh, reasonably priced and light on the stomach… couldn’t ask for much more! ..The gyoza were the freshest I’ve ever tasted too 🙂
PERFECT FOR:
Those times when you’re about to head home from town & couldn’t be arsed cooking but don’t want a fussy restaurant experience either…. grabbing a bite in a hurry.
