Morrison Hotel’s ‘Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea’

I love food. I also love a bit of novelty so, when the Morrison invited us in to try their gentlemen’s afternoon tea I was only too delighted to RSVP.

The following concept helped spawn the idea; Us women have all sorts of nonsense to be at when we want to spend time together but, when it comes to the boys their options are seriously limited. I can agree with that somewhat & there’s no denying that it’s a great take on the more traditional serving of afternoon tea.

I loved the presentation, they kept it somewhat traditional with finger foods but added lot of interesting extras; the ‘cream’ was a delicious sauce for the bacon scone and, the ‘jam’ was the perfect dip for the chips. Morrison’s staff are an absolute credit to the place which just seals the deal really… they’re genuine and attentive without leaving you with that feeling that you’ve unwittingly invited a third party to the join you.
