Generator Hostel, Smithfield 

Menu/ dishes:

Seemingly standard hostel fare. We went for the Beefeater burger, created by their chef Alex Mc & is ranked highly on many a’great Dublin burgers’ list.

Price Point:

Great value for money at around €7-10 for a large portion meal.

Atmosphere:

The Generator hostels have managed to provide cheap living spaces for backpackers without the dingy aesthetic. I’ve stayed in countless hostels in my time with few living up to the fun laid back but funky atmosphere that’s created across the board in these hostels.

Service:

The service matches the vibe on this location; casual & laid back.

Why I liked it enough to share:

This burger is bloody epic! Seriously worth the trip to Smithfield.
