Nolita, George's Street
Nolita, George’s Street
Menu/ dishes:
This New York style bar & eatery serves up a menu of Italian Fare. Our picante pizza was delicious, the pasta dish was fresh & full of flavour and, the calamari to start was quite literally the best calamari I’ve ever had. Seriously.
Price Point:
Mains come in at around €20 which might be considered a little steep but it’s what you can expect to pay in a city centre location of this caliber, it seemed fair for the quality of ingredients, beautiful setting and portion sizes.
Atmosphere:
Nolita offered a fantastic atmosphere; bustling without feeling hectic & had the sort of tone where you’d feel equally as happy sipping water over dinner downstairs as you would tucking into the vino with friends upstairs. They’ve nailed the ‘bar & eatery’ vibe on the head.
Service:
Friendly & authentic. The staff also knew the menu really well considering how new the place is.
Why I liked it enough to share:
Like 99% of Dublin spots when they first open Nolita took off with mixed reviews so I went in with an open mind… I was really impressed with the service, the decor, atmosphere and most importantly the food so they’re more than deserving of a place in this month’s list.
Perfect for:
A weekend catch up with friends.
