Alternative to Dresses for the Festive Season

Well, the season is definitely upon us… a million dinners/drinks/night out to be attended but do you really want to wear a sparkly dress to every occasion? Heres an idea of how to dress for the night without a high heel or dress (or sequin!) in sight.

I bought this vintage jumpsuit when charity shopping in London, it is my first & only jumpsuit as I had never found one I like before. My fear with jumpsuits is that they can wear you rather than you wearing them but with the simplicity of this one I didn’t feel that way… so a purchase was made. I wore this on a night out to the vintage cocktail club and the hot stone restaurant with my mom, both highly recommended, great night 🙂

I love how this look would suit a formal occasion and yet, is miles from anything that people would expect. Why not experiment this festive season by dressing up a jumpsuit or something a little less standard for the usual party wear, you can guarantee you will make more of an impact.
