Black to Basics

Needless to say I was remaining firmly in my ‘black and white’ phase the morning I put this on…. in fact, the jeans & blazer remain the same from the last post, only the tee, shoes & accessories have changed (woops!). I took advantage of the beautiful weather on Tuesday & went up the mountains for a walk & then stopped off in Jonnie Foxes (the highest pub in Ireland) for oysters, Guinness & brown bread… a weird combination of flavours but enjoyable none the less.

I got these Nike airs for 2 EUR at the Dublin flea market a couple of months ago, I was delighted to get them as I was looking for a pair but usually dont go for much colour in trainers… saw these, they were my size… delighted! Il be back at the flea this Sunday, it is on the last Sunday of every month in Dublin & I always try to get down for a few hours; lots of fashionable folk selling their fashionable wares, whats not to love?

This beautiful rug of a scarf is from Zara, it seems to be owned by half the bloggers in the world but I can see why, it is such a nice accessory. I left it in my granddad’s house over Christmas & only got it back there last week, he had put it away thinking it was a blanket & seemed utterly bemused when I told him its a scarf… I guess it’s not your average sized but to me, that’s what makes it special.
