A friend recently sent me a video depicting all of the different ways in which a scarf can be worn, I have sought out those type of videos before in an attempt to get more use out of my lighter scarves in a boho style but I had never seen the very simple ‘fold it in half & knot the corners to make a kimono’ suggestion. Needless to say, I was up the stairs rummaging through my scarf collection within minutes.
This gives a new lease of life to huge array of scarves that most of us girls are harbouring in our bedrooms, I am always drawn to the lighter material scarves in pretty prints & colour but they get forgotten about in summer and are rarely chosen over their warmer counterparts in winter. I bought this particular one in Urban outfitters on a trip to New york nearly 7 years ago and, despite being quite regimented about regular closet clearouts, I have held on to it because I liked the print so much & felt it suited my boho style; now I have found a way to incorporate it more frequently into my wardrobe as well as any other scarves that I have 🙂
Flares, gotten at a clothes swap. Top, H&M. Long gem necklace, thrifted. Stones & coins necklace, Etsy. Moon pendant & fedora, Depop. Satchel, Dublin flea market.
