Clashing Check and Crisp Cos Pieces

In stark contrast to my recent obsession with spray on Dr.Denim skinny jeans comes my X(XX)L men’s golf pants that I thrifted in London & am in.love.with. Now, they are not everyone’s favorite sartorial piece (ahem, my boyfriend) and they do have the impressive ability to make even my 5 9′ stature look somewhat dumpy but, nonetheless, it was unconditional love at first sight & I feel unbelievably comfortably every time I don these clown trousers.

One thing I was struggling with for a while was how to style them. In situations where you feel like only a plain tee will do, the only way to get beyond that is to go big & bold by totally clashing (well, in my humble opinion!) so that, my friends, is how this ensemble came about.

The shirt was a recent Cos purchase, white shirts are a wardrobe staple that I definitely have enough of but being so bloody versatile is the excuse I thought up at the counter when I found myself making this purchase… I know I will get my wear out of it and, really, anything Cos puts out is a piece well worth investing in as far as I’m concerned.
