It was an early start on Wednesday when we were up at 6.30 to catch the Clery’s S/S 15 fashion show… I was looking forward to seeing what was on offer as, since Clery’s is a concession store, I knew there would be a great variety of looks to drool over.
The show didn’t disappoint with enough trends to fuel any imagination and the detailing in the event itself was amazing; even the lift up to the rooftop had been carpeted with fake grass & flowers… If I didn’t feel a spring in my step leaving the house that morning, I certainly did post-show! Of course, the numerous coffees and sweet treats may have contributed to my seasonal haze!
Not only can transitional weather be hard to dress for, it can also be difficult to style a look for an occasion where you neither want to be ‘too dressy’ or ‘too casual’ so this event was a bit of a challenge for me.
I went with my H&M grey skinnies, pairing them with ankle boots and a blazer to keep things neat. I opted for a simple white tee and finished the look by layering with a thrifted kimono & free people belt; giving a touch of S/S boho viiiibes and a nod to my personal style.
Hope you guys like it.
