Fashion Shoot at The Giant’s Causeway

When I came back to Ireland after 2 years travelling I realised how much of my own country I hadn’t seen. Sometimes you take the most obvious things for granted, there doest seem a sense of urgency to visit something when it is within driving distance from your own house but I wanted to make a conscious effort to change that mind frame.

One of the sites I had really wanted to make it to was the Giant’s Causeway so Sean & I headed up there to take in the views & enjoy one of Ireland’s many beautiful heritage sites.

We spent a lovely 2 days in Bushmill’s & had a beautiful day at the causeway… considering what the weather was like on the drive up (and then on the drive home) we were verrrry lucky!

When we decided we would do a shoot up there I knew straight away that I wanted to style a look around this Aran snood (scarf/ poncho?). It was hand knitted by a lovely lady who lives on the Aran islands, when I saw it for sale in her cafe at the start of the summer just knew I had to have it. It’s such an unusual piece, one of a kind & in the most beautiful autumn tone.
