I actually wore this to a gig last week but since my 30D doesn’t have the power to take phones that don’t look horribly grainy when ISO is anywhere near the highest it goes & the flash I ordered from Ebay is stiiiiiiiill on the way, I had to settle for taking the photos in hindsight… oh well!
I got this mac cyber lipstick during the summer but havent actually worn it until now, I really like it but actually thought it was a little darker, I guess it not being totally black makes it a bit more wearable, I have worn black eyeliner as lipstick before & remember feeling very conscious of it smudging or getting on my teeth throughout the night… not the easiest thing to wear!
I teamed a top from a small order I made from nasty gal with my trusty high waisters that I thrifted in Melbourne and a fur I got for $20 in a vintage rummage sale in Oz as well… ohhh, how I miss the thrift shopping in Australia (oh, how my bank balance doesn’t!)
Belt, hand me down from my mom. Boots, Ebay.

Oh my, oh my, oh my your outfits are so-so-so cute! I wanted to see if you could lend a hand with some advice, or should I say lend a leg! Just moved to Ireland from the US and I want to fit so badly! This involves changing my style too! I want to start incorporating tights into my wardrobe! I would love to get your help on the practicality of wearing them! Do you have any advice on where to get them, how to wear them etc? Tights are such a big thing here so I want to join in on the fun! Also, whats the deal with the feet, should I go for footed or footless? To be honest I am pretty sick of footless, uggg lol
Thanks!
Hey Becca, firstly… welcome to Ireland! Tights are most definitely a big thing here.. they are an absolute necessity unless you want to live your life only ever wearing trousers and not venturing into the world of skirts and shorts and, really, who wants that! I would recommend full foot tights unless you are planning open toe shoes in which case you should probably just brave the cold and go bare legged. You can get a high selection of patterned and colored tights from high street store such as Topshop and River island but if you are just looking to build a basic collection then Penny’s is a great place to start. In penny’s they have a huge selection of black tights at inexpensive prices and varying ‘denier’… this is basically the amount of thickness of the tights… the higher the denier the less sheer the tights are so it comes down to personal preference then really. I usually wear 120 denier during the winter months and then work my way down to a denier 15 before precariously ditching them alltogether come the ‘summer months’… hope this helps!
Found you on lookbook!
