Mountain Survival

Well, it doesn’t get much more casual than this, does it!? I went to the mountains with my boyfriend last week to walk around the beautiful surroundings & make lunch on an open fire (well, I wasnt much help with the making part but I did, of course, help to eat it). Despite how often I eat out & the impressive culinary delights on offer in these places, something as simple as beans & sausages cooked on an open fire tastes just as good after a long walk on a cold day 🙂

I’m really enjoying getting outdoors at this time of year, something I wouldn’t normally be a fan of in cold weather but turns out it’s actually not thaaaaat bad & does open the doors to more options to fill your spare time without having to break the bank.

Needless to say, wearing anything other than a million layers & runners wouldn’t have been ‘practical’ for this venture but, as I never a fan of that word anyway I felt in the mood for a red lip (so went wiiiiild & did it). I wasnt intending to do an outfit post on the day but the surroundings were too pretty to not make the most of.

Zara Jeans, SF jumper & Levi jacket, all from Dublin charity shops. Nikes & hoodie, Ebay. Hat, thrifted in Melbourne.
