Navy and I are having a little moment…. its was always a colour I avoided for fear of not being able to style it but, once I realized it can be styled with anything I want & just generally stopped over thinking it, I made a few purchases & the love affair began.
That tired old concept of ‘fashion rules’ come up time and time again… its easy to be convinced that certain prints/colors worn together are sartorial sin but, some of the most intriguing looks I have ever seen styled happen to be those that break those bloody rules.
Coincidence? I think not.
At the end of the day, as I always say, if you feel good you look good. There is nothing sexier than a bold confidence & women often feel the power of this confidence through beautiful clothes. After all, why not wear it if it makes you happy?
The same can absolutely be said for anything that just doesn’t feel right. After all, no matter how good your mates say it looks on you, if you’re not feeling it don’t.wear.it.
Well, I’ve completely gone off on a tangent there but none the less, I hope you grasped my fleeting point!
For this look I was in the mood to go for a boyish silhouette so, thats exactly what I did.
