One thing I particularly admire & tend to lean towards is mixing textures in outfits… it gives even the most simple look more of ‘an edge’. Pairing distressed denim & studded leather with a delicate lace cami & silk blouse is what keeps things interesting.
I wore this into town to do a bit of shopping yesterday & I have to say, I was quite impressed with the SS 2014 collections that a lot of the high street stores were offering…. because of this, I am now ‘clothing rich’ but ‘money poor’… oh well, who needs money when your wearing a fabulous new outfit!?
Jacket, New look, DIY studded with Ebay studs. Converse & lace cami, savers. Jeans, topshop (past season) DIY distressed. Silk blouse, thrifted. Necklace, ASOS.

Awesome leather jacket! They’re so versatile, aren’t they? The ripped jeans are great, too.
Absolutely Kamara, Iv had this for years & its not showing any signs of being delegated to the back of the wardrobe yet!

Thank you gail… just take a scissors to any old jeans and voila 🙂

Funky, fresh, and fabulous. Man, I’m good at alliteration. 😉
How you wear black leather so well is impressive. I can only pull off the colored kind — dark brown at best — black always looks like I’m playing dress-up with mum’s clothes. Can you teach me? XD

Ah but, Miss decaf, you wear the pastel leather so well. All I can wear is black or else I feel like an adult playing dress-up with a kid’s box…. but then again, are not our differences what make personal style so intersting? 🙂 x
Love your ripped jeans! I’ve wanted a pair for ages but haven’t found the right ones yet 🙁 X

Thanks Sheren, I just got an old pair of jeans I never wear any more and attacked them with a scisors… failing that, ASOS are doing great, inexpensive distressed denims… they’l do the attacking for you 🙂
Great jacket! I love the cut of it. Really cute Converse kicks.
