Event– FROST – Fumbally Exchange seasonal shopping experience

Description- Seasonal Shopping Experience – Frost – returns to 5 Dame Lane with unique crafts and designs to fill stockings this Christmas.

Dublin shoppers seeking unique Christmas gifts will be delighted to learn that Frost, the gorgeous seasonal craft and design store, is back this year with even more on offer.

Ireland’s finest designers, crafts people and artists have created the goods for sale at Frost, located on the ground floor of the Fumbally Exchange on Dame Lane.

Event– Christmas Charity Cheesy Chewsday 2018

Location- Walshs, stoneybatter, dublin 7

Description- Christmas charity cheesy chewsday in aid of the capuchin day centre, dublin 7

Event– Christmas at Marlay

Location- Marlay House 16 Grange Road

Description- A festive evening of comedy, music and storytelling at the resplendent surrounds of Marlay Park House. A great night for the entire family, with mulled wine and mince pies to get everyone in the spirit of the season.

Children’s event– Jack and the Beanstalk

Location- The Civic, Tallaght

Description- Sorcha Furlong (Orla, Fair City) as the Evil Baroness.
Enya Martin (Giz a Laugh, YouTube sensation) as the InstaFairy
Morgan Crowley (West End Star) as Dame Dottie.

Come join us on our pantomime adventure to the town of Happyville. Meet Jack and his mum Dottie who are down on their luck – oh how will they ever defeat the evil Baroness? Will the hilarious Instafairy finally pass her magic exams? Will our friendly giant at last find his courage? Will Jack and Jill manage to fall in love? Throw in a pet cow, a Beanstalk, lots of singing, plenty of dancing and you have yourself this year’s spectacular Civic panto – Jack and The Beanstalk. Event– Temple Bar Christmas Markets

Location- Love Temple Bar, Second Floor, 1-5 Crampton court

Description- Dublin’s Only Art & Craft Christmas Night Market. The markets feature handmade products and the work of artists & craft makers in a relaxed atmosphere in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent showcase for all of the artists and craft makers to sell their works. The night market features a wide selection of craft makers from both Ireland and overseas. Items on sale will include handmade soaps, candles, bead-work, fashion, up cycled arts and crafts, jewellery and more.

Location- Airfield Estate, Dundrum

Friday

Event– Greatest Hits of Motown

Location- Vicar Street Venue, Thomas Street

Description- Aiken Promotions proudly presents The Greatest Hits in Motown featuring Roy G Hemming, live at Vicar Street, 14TH December. Tickets €39.50 inclusive of booking fee, on sale Friday at 9AM.

Former longest serving member of Legendary group The Drifters, Roy G Hemming is known to bring passion and a great presence to stages across four decades.

Roy enjoyed major success when he signed a recording deal with Magnet Records in the mid- seventies with the J.A.L.N. Band, one of the first bands to storm the British charts with the dance record, ‘Disco Music, I Like It’ produced by Pete Waterman.

Expect to hear all the Motown classics this December at Vicar Street from The Supremes, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie.

Children’s event– Santa’s coming to Liffey Valley!

Location- Liffey Valley Shopping Centre

Description- Santa Claus is coming to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre this Saturday!

WHAT: There will be lots of entertainment throughout the day with Angel and her band taking to the stage at 1.30pm, singing Christmas songs and creating a festive atmosphere ahead of Santa’s arrival at 4pm!

WHEN: Santa will be arriving at 4pm and officially turning on the Christmas lights in the centre at 4.15pm.

GROTTO: There is a charge of €10 per child to visit Santa. This includes the visit and one gift per child. No booking necessary.

Saturday

Event– Prana Alcohol-Free Christmas Party

Location- Bloomfield Avenue, Dublin

Description- Join us for a great night of Entertainment, fun, Craic, connection, hugs and atmosphere at our first Conscious Christmas Celebration.

Event– Dublin Alternative Christmas Market 2018

Location- Voodoo Lounge, Aaran Quay

Description- Come on down & do your Alternative Spookmas shopping, meet up with friends, hang-out and have a festive beverage or two

Children’s event– Christmas Experience 2018

Location- Malahide Castle

Description- Join us for one of the most magical experiences this Christmas with a trip to see Santa and Mrs Claus in their cosy grotto in the enchanted surrounds of Malahide Castle!

The fun doesn’t stop there! All families are invited to tour the beautiful rooms of the castle where we have special guests awaiting them. This year Santa & Mrs Claus have invited their forest friends, Robin Hood, Maid Marian & Friar Tuck, to entertain Santa’s visitors. An experience not to be missed!
