Location- National Concert Hall

Description- Bring Along a Baby is an informal, relaxed, accessible chamber music recital of the highest standard, aimed primarily at parents, while babies or very young children sleep, feed and play.

There is no pressure to keep still or quiet, leaving parents free to sit back and enjoy the music. In fact, we encourage the babies to interact naturally with the music, and we have play mats and soft toys to this end.

Of course, the babies benefit from the music as well, so it’s a win-win.

EventDublin Terrarium Workshop for Beginners Including a G&T!

Location- House Dublin, Leeson Street

Description- Learn how to make your own unique Terrarium with a free G&T in the surroundings of a beautiful glasshouse venue in Dublin City Centre.

Terrariums are the latest houseplants to introduce personality and nature to your home. They not only look beautiful and require seriously low maintenance, but they also come with some useful health benefits.

In this workshop, everything you need will be provided. And you will be shown the steps to create your own miniature garden in a glass which you get to take home with you.

Children’s eventEaster Musical Picnic With The Echo Band

Location- National Concert Hall

Description- Join us for a family picnic lunchtime concert where we bring the outdoors indoors with a family lunchtime concert and lots of other fun activities. Come early and meet the musicians, try out some instruments, and have some fun with musical face-painting!

Then come into the John Field Room to enjoy our interactive family concert and hear some familiar tunes with a jazz twist.

EventGuilty Pleasure Karaoke with Ruby Noir

Location- Drop Dead Twice, Francis Street

Description- We are very excited to announce that two of our very favourite show girls, Ruby Noir and DialEmma will be joining the Drop Dead Twice family to bring you some mid-week fun.

Pin-Up Chanteuse, Ruby Noir, will be leading Guilty Pleasures Karaoke on the fourth Weds of every month.

Meanwhile, Cabaret Doyenne DialEmma will be leading our Lip Sync Battle on the first Weds of every month.

Children’s eventKids Easter Class

Location- Sugar Sisters. 3-4 Bachelors Walk

Description- Get your kids down to our shop to learn how to make these super cute cupcakes. It’s a great way to keep them busy and learn something too.

Learn a variety of techniques such as piping, modelling, using cutters, painting and much more.!

Your kids will leave at the end of the class with their 6 cucpakes to enjoy.

EventFilm Screening: A Room with a View

Location- National Gallery Of Ireland

Description- To complement our exhibition ‘The Voyage of Italy: 200 Years of Travel Guides’, we are delighted to screen the classic Merchant Ivory film, ‘A Room with a View’ (1986) based on the book by E.M. Forster and starring Helena Bonham Carter, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench and Daniel Day-Lewis.

The screening will be preceded by a 10-minute talk by exhibition curator Catherine Sheridan.

Organised by the Friends of the National Gallery of Ireland, this event is open to members and non-members. All welcome!

EventSustainable Fashion Show

Location- D-Light Studios, North Great Clarence Street

Description- Fast fashion needs finishing. We’re interested in spreading the message of slow fashion. Together let’s inspire a collective response towards a more sustainable economy.

The first in a series of events dedicated to promoting and fostering sustainability in the cultural sector, Native Event’s Sustainable Fashion Show is being held Saturday, April 27th in the charming surrounds of D-Light Studios, Dublin. The event, held as part of Fashion Revolution Week, will consist of a marketplace, panel discussions and a runway show.

Over twenty exhibitors will take part in the market and fashion show; each showcasing their sustainable, recycled, and upcycled designs. On top of that, a carefully selected number of fashion students from around the country will be showcasing their designs on the runway.

Location- Super Natural Food Market, St. Andrew’s Resource Centre, Pearse Street

Description- Do you have a fussy eater in your house? Or even a great eater? Or just a bored child?! Well bring them one and all to the lovely Super Natural Food Market in Dublin for an hour of healthy, smoothie making fun. We love showing children that healthy food can be fun, not to mention tasty! So bring them down, you can grab a coffee and have a browse around the organic market and we’ll do all the work! Suitable for children from age 3-7 approx.

Description- This Easter SGP add Oliver! to the growing list of musicals staged at the wonderful Helix theatre. With songs such as Food Glorious Food, Oom Pah Pah, Consider yourself, As long as he needs me, Be back soon and of course Who will buy, along with spectacular dance routines and a beautiful set and costumes, this musical will appeal to young and old.
