If there’s one unwavering belief I’ve held throughout my adult life, it’s that hair products have the capacity to change your life. I dive in wholeheartedly believing, without even a fraction of doubt, that each product has the powers to fulfil every claim that’s made on the bottle.
Needless to say, I’m often left more than a little underwhelmed once I’ve tried these products & realise that my life is still the same only, I’m a few quid down….which is why I’ve started sticking to my tried & tested brands.
Tigi would be one of them… I’ve used their products for years & find that they always deliver on effectiveness, which is why I was so excited when I heard whispers of the Joyride product being launched.
If you have fine hair, but lots of it (like me) you’ll know the pain of trying to get movement in that mop with various texturisers. So, despite trying many (many!) variety of texturisers over the years I’ve never tried a powder balm.
This new approach to texturizing had me at hello… unlike powders that seems to vanish into thin air when applied or, creams that can often weigh the hair down; this balm warms into the hands as a light, dry paste.
I scrunch it through dry hair, layering the product as much or, as little as I want depending on the desired result & it left my hair with a matte, textured finish that lasted all night (trust me… I used this product to style my hair clubbing in Ibiza!)
It a very easy product to use getting ready or, when on the go. It doesn’t leave a sticky or crunchy feel at all (my pet peeve with hair products!) and, it smells diiiivine!!!
If you’re looking for the perfect texturizing product, you may have just found it.
