Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Merrion Street
Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Merrion Street
Menu/ Dishes:
‘Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud has been a centre of fine dining excellence for the last thirty years and is Ireland’s only two star Michelin restaurant’.
I had lunch here for the Irish Food Writer’s Guild awards so had a set menu offering.
Price Point:
Lunch is two courses for €50 or three for €60
Atmosphere:
I wanted to visit Patrick Guilbaud’s for years but never found the right occasion so I was delighted to get the chance. In my head it was going to be quite a dimly lit, cavernous set up so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it’s actually a very bright, spacious restaurant with natural light flowing from every direction.
Service:
The service was impeccable as you’d expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Absolutely faultless.
Why I Liked It Enough To Share:
The menu was seasonal, exciting and fresh. The presentation was akin to art and each dish danced with flavour.
Perfect For:
A special occasion celebration.
