Eatokyo, Wellington Quay

Menu/Dishes:

Japanese BYO restaurant which serves food until 10.30pm. We shared veg gyoza to start then I went for the yasai yaki soba for my main dish while Sean opted for sushi.

Price Point:

Starters come in at around €7 while the mains are around €15 which I felt was fair.

Atmosphere:

We arrived almost as closing time on a mid-week night so it was quite but probably not a fair indication of the restaurant’s usual atmosphere. Great people watching spot as it’s situated right at the Ha’penny Bridge.

Service:

Really warm and friendly with a great knowledge of the restaurant. They didn’t make us feel unwelcome despite arriving at 10pm looking for food.

Why I Liked it Enough to Share:

The food was really bloody tasty, super-fresh with great depth of flavour. Great menu selection for both food and drinks.

Perfect For:

Date night in the city.
