Bowls, Marlborough Street
Bowls, Marlborough Street
Menu/Dishes:
Bowls describes their menu as being ‘inspired from the streets of Hong Kong to Dublin’; lots of tasty Asian flavours. I oped for their Roasted aubergine on charcoal in oyster sauce signature bowl while Sean went for the Charred hong kong 5 spice pulled beef brisket version. We shared dumplings.
Price Point:
Around €13 for the signature bowls which I felt was good value for the portion size and ingredients.
Atmosphere:
We arrived just before closing so had the place to ourselves, the decor is very inviting and the staff were super welcoming despite our late attendance.
Service:
Order at the counter type setup which felt appropriate for the casual nature of this restaurant. The staff serving us were warm and friendly.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
The signature bowls were bursting with authentic flavours, the menu had lots to offer and the price point was great.
Perfect For:
Casual date night or catch up with friends.
