Lilliput Stores, Arbour Hill
Lilliput Stores, Arbour Hill
Menu/Dishes:
A delicious tapas-style menu with mouth-watering options to suit any palate. We got an amazing mix which included some of the tastiest garlic bread I’ve ever had (pictured), deep-fried olives, mussels, decadently topped cauliflower and, a delicious gluten-free drizzle cake for dessert.
Price Point:
Suitable for any price point as nibbles start at €4 and small plates at €8, excellent value for the quality of ingredients.
Atmosphere:
We arrived here on a wet and dreary night to be lead into the back of this artisan store to the cosiest dining area, dimly lit with a real intimacy about it. The whole evening was spent listening to rainfall as we enjoyed some of the nicest food I’ve had in a long time, sheer perfection.
Service:
We had the pleasure of being served by a lady named Aoife who was clearly very passionate about the work they are doing there in Lilliput Stores (for good reason). She knew the menu incredibly well and was able to make food and wine suggestions based on our preferences… all of which were our taste to a tee.
Why I Liked it Enough to Share:
This was quite simply the nicest meal we’ve had in a long time; the service, atmosphere and food were flawless and just the overall vibe of this cute little local store serving exceptional food in such an intimate setting really made for an experience that was memorable for all the right reasons.
Perfect For:
Any time you just want to enjoy bloody epic food!
