Iv been unfortunate enough to be working nights the last few weekends that the Dublin Flea market is on. I only work about 5 min from Newmarket square so I have considered going straight from work but there’s a few hours in between me finishing work & the flea actually starting leaving me thinking Id be asleep on the ground outside by the time it kicked off! I usually head home for a quick sleep before heading over but that leaves me with a lingering sense that Iv missed out on a significant amount of the bargains on offer… first world problems, eh!?
None-the-less, I do my best to make it down & for an hour or 2 to soak up the atmosphere and see whats left. It has been expanding over the last few months which has been great & despite my sleep deprivation I always manage to summon the energy for an impressive browse… nothing like a good bargain to put a pep in your step 🙂
In an attempt to avoid looking like Iv had as little sleep as I have actually had, I try & keep thing fairly simple; This shirt that I raided from my Dad’s wardrobe a few months has seen me though plenty of days out… simple crisp & clean.
High waisted jeans; Dr. Denim. Levi jacket: Thrifted. Dr marten chelsea boots via Depop. Sunglasses: H&M men’s. Backpack: Zara. Watch: Vintage Casio.
