Wearing a vintage maxi dress isn’t always the easiest and this dress is so far from something I would normally choose that, I even surprised myself when I pick it off the rack. Not only do I rarely wear dresses any more, Iv never owned a long-sleeved, high-necked, floor length bold print item of any kind.
Something about it called out to me when I saw it and, after trying it on I just knew it had to be mine. I can’t quite put my finger on why I like it but, why do we feel the need to defined or explained taste anyway? I liked it, so I bought it. That’s good enough for me.
I felt a certain elegance while wearing it which is a feeling seldom evoked in my usual attire. I can’t see myself moving back to dresses but, I can see this particular dress staying in my wardrobe for a good while to come; I’m already thinking of it for body and soul festival next year!
