Having my first weekend off in 4 weeks, the last thing I wanted to do was spend time planning an outfit before I left the house… I wanted to get out into that day! So, in that respect, this is a minimal effort look but a good representation of my day-to-day style.
I know ‘the boyfriend jean’ style is generally met with mixed reviews but I feel they definitely have a place in my wardrobe for when I want to look sort of ‘undone’ and thrown together. Aside from my trusty skinnies, the only other style of jeans I own are flares so its nice to have another option.
My new thrifted Dune ankle boots & a slick of lip color keeps the look ‘shabby chic’ as opposed to just plan ol’ shabby.
