Winter Coat Inspiration

Its that time of year again when the tights go on, the scarves come out and you start making excuses to not leave your house (or, is that just me!?) I love winter in a way as I find it easier to dress when layers are involved (growing up in Ireland I am not acustomed to a ‘one item of clothing’ type of outfit!) but it does get tricky when the wether can change 10 times between leaving your house and getting home again.

Im loving the furs in the above pics, both very similar in the way that they are styled, showing that no matter how overly massive your coat is, if you wear it with a structured dress or jeans it wont swamp you. A statement jacket like the one in the 2nd photo is a must in my opinion, it might not be ‘practical’ for everyday wear but you will feel effing fabulous for the whole day in this and really, what more can you ask for! Lastly, the studded trench… there is just absoulty nothing wrong with that!

Heres my pick of a few winter coat must-haves. The Acne studio leather jacket is amazing, Iv been on the look out for an oversized distressed leather biker for a while but Im hoping to find mine in a slightly lower price range… very few are even in any way affordable to me but, a girl can dream! The fuchsia pink leather is unreal as well, I never really wear pink but, in this case an exception would be considered 😉
