Laid Back City Days

Summer is just around and I cant help but think of…. festivals. I am a big lover of music festivals and of course, the fashion that goes along with it. On this particular day I was heading out to an exhibition launch and then on to dinner. Usually, before I leave the house I have an idea of the piece I want to wear & then build an outfit around it but, on this occasion, I hadent a clue… what came about is a festival inspired look that I was very happy to spend the evening in.

This satchel is my latest love, bought for 30 EUR at the last Dublin flea market, it is big enough to fit my camera (without being suitcase sized) & had a beautiful vintage feel to it. The gap cardigan as well as the river island boots and statement ring are all Dublin flea finds so you can see why it is such an important date on my shopping calendar!

I am not usually a massive wearer of cardigans but I loved the length of this one and feel that it will see me though the summer evenings when I want to be warm but not too covered up… the cardigan & hat combo did draw some ‘witch in a cape’ mumbles from my boyfriends but sure.. what do boys know?

Oversized tee, H&M. Peace necklace & dreamcatcher necklace, bought while travelling. Vintage levi shorts, Bangkok market. Hat, primark.

  • Ahhh I’ve finally nailed it. I kept wondering what it is that I love about your style, and how to describe it in words, but you got there before me. Festival ready. All your looks are so boho but without being really in your face and I just wish I could pull off something so cool! That bag is such a steal. It is definitely my favourite part of your outfit and suits you so well, even standing out against that red wall. I wish I knew where it was from so I could get one myself, but it looks pretty expensive. Hope you’re having a lovely day. x

Thanks so much Rosemary, its a massive compliment that you see my style in that way, I always admire other people who’s style has a boho feel to it so perhaps I have emulated it over time! I am absolutely delighted with this bag, I can see myself getting plenty of use out of it! Hope your having a great day, enjoy the weekend.xx
