Bohemain Days

Well, the weather was amazing last weekend so I spent all of my time roaming Dublin and loving life… I managed to squeeze in a Saturday night out but was happy to make it an early finish as to not waste my Sunday. T’was also the fist day these stems had seen daylight since last year… dubious as I was, I felt in the moment that now was as good a time as any so, I threw caution to the wind & got them out. This was greeted by some interesting suggestions from a friend that my right knee has, what looks to be, quite an expressive face. I have to admit, I agree…. Now I cant stop noticing it!

This fringe jacket was bought in a vintage store in Buenos Aires… a completely impractical piece to buy when you’re backpacking the world but it was one of those items that, as soon as you lay eyes on it, you simply HAVE to have it. I wore it non-stop after purchase until I had to sadly wrap it up & post it home to await my return nearly 2 years later. I absolutely love it & is exactly the type of fringe jacket I had wanted for years, the lining is printed with old ocean maps which makes me love it even more, a treasured wardrobe piece.

Hope all you guys had a lovely weekend as well, and sure, considering it took me so long to get this post published, it’s nearly upon us again 🙂

Headband, vintage shorts & belt, thrifted. Boots, Ebay. Crop, DIY. Sunglasses, Bangkok market.

Love the vinatge boho, it feels so great when you find that piece nestled in a load of rubbish in a vintage shop. x

  • I am absolutely in love with your style. You pull it off sooo well. Thrifting is haaaard work so you have done a great job. I think you must have a real knack for putting together different bits and bobs. I wish was able to do the same. Also, looks like the sun is shining on you in Ireland. So have a lovely day! Thanks so much Rosemary, thirfting can most definitely be hard work but its kinda like a hobbie to me at this stage and, finding a unique piece for next to nothing is the best reward! It also helps (a lot!) that I made the most of thrifting while I was backpacking… Ireland doesn’t have a huge variety so being able to supplement with pieces from Asia & Australia is a bonus.xx
